This stunning mid-century bar / cocktail cabinet is in wonderful condition and would make an amazing addition to any lounge, man-cave or party room, being big, beautiful and bold enough to command attention wherever it is placed.
A bottom hinged door opens to reveal a bar section which includes a shelf, storage for 6 bottles and the original ice bucket. The striking bright red formica laminate and black edging detail of the bar interior contrasts beautifully with the rich, dark tones of the solid teak and veneered body. The lower doors are finished in a crisp, clean white veneer and conceal storage for bottles and glasses. The bar section and lower cupboards are lockable using the supplied keys. One of the bottom cupboards has a smoked, toughened glass shelf (not visible in pictures, original was broken and new piece is being cut. Will be dispatched with the item).
The top enclosed shelf section is has storage front and rear and slides back to allow better access to the bar area underneath.
There are very few signs of wear and age, mostly amounting to a few small water marks on the top front edge, but nothing that detracts or distracts your attention. It has been cleaned thoroughly and buffed up with a couple of coats of teak oil.
It is very heavy and will need at least 2 people to move.
